Participation of Professor Davit Narmania in an International Academic Conference in London with the Support of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia
An international conference on economics, finance, and business was held in London on June 9-11, 2025, jointly organized by the Prague University of Economics and Business, the International Institute of Social and Economic Sciences, and ESCP Business School. Hosted at the London campus of ESCP Business School, the event brought together scholars and experts from various countries to discuss current global challenges and innovative approaches in the fields of economics and business.
Within the framework of a project funded by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, Professor Davit Narmania participated in the conference. His presentation, “Energy Security: Modern Approaches and Trends”, addressed global energy threats driven by geopolitical instability, climate change, and the rise of digital risks. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of international cooperation and the development of sustainable strategies to ensure long-term energy security.
Two of the conference’s plenary sessions were dedicated to exploring the interconnection between energy resources and political dynamics, under the moderation of Professor Weng Si Kuan. As part of the official program, delegates also had the opportunity to take part in a joint educational tour to Oxford, which significantly enriched their academic and cultural experience.
Professor Narmania’s participation in this international forum reflects Georgia’s active engagement in global scientific dialogue and contributes meaningfully to the advancement of research and policymaking in the field of energy security.
