Within the framework of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia grant, young scientists participated in the international conference on May 28-31 in Leuven, Belgium (2025 3rd International Conference on Chemical, Energy Science and Environmental Engineering, CESEE) where the conference topics were presented: „Energy potential and opportunities in Georgia: the context of making Georgia a regional energy hub“ and “Georgia’s Energy Security Challenges”. Speakers: Shorena Davitaia, Nino Vardiashvili and Giorgi Morchiladze. The conference was hosted by the lead organizer Jan Baeens, a leading scientist from Beijing University of Chemical Technology and the University of Leuven, who expressed his readiness for future cooperation with Georgia in the direction of “green” hydrogen-based energy generation. Also, an article has been published in the conference proceedings, which is placed in the Scopus database.
